Strengthening Our Global MRO and Cabin Interiors Network with a New Location in Dubai
The Aerotec Group is expanding its international footprint with the acquisition of Mindtree Aerospace Repairing and Maintenance Aircraft LLC, a GCAA- and EASA-approved specialist in the design, production, refurbishment, and certification of aircraft cabin interiors.
With the GCAA- and EASA-approved facility at Dubai World Central Airport (DWC), the Aerotec Group strategically strengthens its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation hubs. This new location enhances the Group’s capabilities across cabin interior refurbishment, component MRO, engineering solutions, and certified repair services for both commercial and cargo aircraft.
The expansion into Dubai supports Aerotec’s long-term strategy to offer regional availability, shorter turnaround times, and end-to-end cabin and component solutions to customers in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
New Managing Director Middle East: Thamseem Ahmed
To lead our growth in the region, the Aerotec Group welcomes Thamseem Ahmed as Managing Director Middle East, based in Dubai Industrial City.
With extensive experience in aviation interiors, MRO operations, and aircraft cabin refurbishment projects, Thamseem strengthens Aerotec’s regional leadership and customer support capabilities.
Working closely with Frank Kusserow, CEO of Aerotec Europe GmbH, Thamseem will drive the development of new partnerships and ensure seamless integration of Aerotec’s services across the global network.
